Tremsil 500

Tremsil 500 is a neutral silicone sealant that produces a durable, elastic, and weatherproof seal for glazing and construction joints.

Summary of properties

• Excellent resistance to ageing and weathering.
• Neutral type – nearly odourless.
• UV-resistant.
• Allows for movement up to ± 50%.
• Also adheres to PVF2 and other plastic surfaces.
• Excellent adhesion to most construction materials without primer.
• Conforms to ISO 11600, classes F-25LM and G-25LM.

Intended for:

• Perimeter sealing of doors and windows.
• Construction joints.
• PVF2 and other plastic surfaces.
• Bonding to polycarbonate.

Tremsil 500 is not recommended for use in:

• very dry conditions, below 20% RH;
• applications where over-painting is required;
• aquariums and continuous immersion;
• areas subject to abrasion or physical loading (e.g., dynamic joints);
• marble surfaces.
